We took this sweet little house's and gave it some curb appeal, function, and utility.
The inspiration I used for the exterior was modern farm house with a influence from craftsman era.
This 1956 home was revived with an all new exterior, roof, drainage system and leveled foundation before becoming this head turner.
We used vertical hardy board in the front of the house and used horizontal on the other sides to save on costs. We changed the front windows to be symmetrical equal sized windows making the exterior balanced. Adding an awning helped visually balance the large deck and entry area while giving it its own special functional feature. We finished it off with flower boxes allowing us to bring soft lines with natural elements.
